I thought you might be interested in seeing how this hat looks while I’m wearing the color-change hud. Using the hud I had just changed the color of the petals to yellow, selecting one of the preset colors and then moving the selecting tool around a bit to get just the shade of yellow that I wanted.

You can see from this blog entry three other looks for the same hat. I’ve been having a great time seeing what I can do with the hat, and I think you will too. For the now (June 30, 2011), it’s only 55L. That will change very soon, so pop in now to Xen’s Hats and get yours.

Today I have set out my second color-change hat. This was has daisies that are also color-change. I think you will have as much fun with it as I have. Here the Daisy Hat with three different looks. The other day chiaki Xue of DURA dropped a fat pack of her newest hair into my inventory. Frankly, I don’t think I can have too many hairs, so I’m always tickled to try on new ones. My RL jaw almost dropped open when I saw the latest as it looks so much like the way I wore my hair for many years that I was astounded. (It makes me think about getting my RL hair cut like that again, but I’ll have to let it grow for a while before it gets long enough to cut into this style.)

I’m so comfortable in this hairdo that I could wear it almost constantly—this will be one of my frequently-worn hairs. I hope you like it as much as I do.

I’m always interested to see what Yula Finesmith will set out for 55L Thursday. She never disappoints me—take today for example—it’s time for swimwear, and she came out with not one, not three, but eight new piercings for the naval. I’ve shown one in a distance shot and then it and two others up close. There are three styles and several colors, each one only 55L from 7:00 a.m. SLT Thursday, June 23 until 7:00 a.m. SLT Friday, June 24.  You can see all eight of them pictured on her own blog here, and you can take this link to TP over to Finesmith Design and pick up your favorites while they are on special.

Ready for a step back to the 1970s? When I wanted to style a 1970s look for Models Workshop, I could not find this hat in stores even though I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere. It’s called a Baker Boy Cap and it has a white-on-white floral print of my own design with subtle shadowing. This is the first hat that is both resizable using a menu and color-changeable using a hud. You can make it any color you like using the preset colors or by clicking on the colors to the right or even putting in RGB numbers directly. For today it is only 55L, so pop over and get yours.

This is my first fedora, and I’ve made it out of straw for a cool summer feel. I also made ten with a variety of different colors to fit any wardrobe—male or female. On my feet are Yula Finesmith’s first shoes, which also come in a nice variety of colors with a hud to change skin colors. What an amazing gift Yula Finesmith has set out for her group members. I am especially fond of golden topaz, and the large stones featured in these pieces immediately grabbed my attention. I paired the Finesmith June gift with this skirt and blouse from Malt, and now I’m ready for the hot summer sun.
