I love seeing the work of creative people and, even more, wearing the work of creative people. The outfit I’m wearing is from Eshi Otawara, perhaps the leading designer in avant garde in Second Life. When I read the notice that she had redone her Popi outfit in new colors with black instead of white, I rushed over to see and went away with the blue. To be honest, it was really a hard decision to make because the colors are so vivid and I’m drawn to vivid colors.
Made to coordinate with each of the gowns is a new makeup from blackLiquid Tokyoska. Of course I had to get the makeup too, and I chose the one with eyeliner as opposed to the one without. Even in real life, I like eyeliner. blackLiquid is establishing her own line of makeup, so watch for more to come from this amazing model, stylist, photographer, show producer, artist, and more. blackLiquid always amazes me, no matter what she is doing.
I know, I could have done a better job of darkening the net below, but I just loved the pose, so I included this one. When Yula sent me these pieces, I immediately fell in love. This Hara set felt so good that I rushed over to Boho Baku to get a new outfit. Love the feel of the clothing there because it’s stuff I would wear in real life. Indeed, these take me back more than a few years. I know you will like the jewelry set and the skirt and blouse as much as I do—well, that’s assuming you have a bit of boho, hippie, and/or gypsy in you. I love the new Amacci hair—I liked it so much that I got the fatpack. The great sandals are also by Yula Finesmith. They fit this outfit to a T.

The most creative stylistas in SL find themselves as inspirations for Yula Finesmith. One of Yula’s most recent inspiration sets was designed after getting to know Anigma Eulenberg. I think it’s a stunning set and a great avant garde outfit that includes everything but the boots.
I took so many photos playing with these new poses. I got them for 1L per pose at the DARE store that is going out of business—yes, that’s right, 1L per pose. Some of them would work on the runway, but all of them could be used by photographers. I have no idea how long DARE will be open, so you should probably get there quickly.
I’ve included more photos than usual because I was having fun playing with lighting effects and shadows on Photoshop. This outfit was perfect for playing with poses and shadows. I think I did a pretty good job of finding poses that kept my body parts outside the Anigma Inspiration Set.

Today I’m showing a piece from Yula’s past and, I suspect, a piece of her future. Yula, of Finesmith Designs, said that before she went to jewelry design school in Israel in real life, she used to make necklaces very much like the one I am wearing. The earrings are a recent release that could be something she makes in real life in the near future. (Yula, I would wear both of these, although I would prefer real life earrings to be a lot smaller. Huge hoops would become a source of fascination for my cats, and I have enough of those already—sources of fascination, not Yula’s real life jewelry—yet.)
I’m also wearing the hat that will be available for 55L on Thursday from Xen’s Hats. It’s color-changeable using a hud. For that price, you should buy—not several—just one because you can copy and change the colors, so you don’t need more than one. I love that.
I’m also wearing one of my favorite jumpsuits/bodysuits/catsuits–whatever you want to call it. I already had it in black, but I wanted one in another color so I popped over to Miamai to pick up another one in green. Okay, I’d call it teal, but Miamai calls it green, so don’t look for one in teal. You will find it in the City Girls collection.
I’m using poses that I got for only 10L each at Avante Poses. The owner, Trinity Graves, is coming out with new poses, so she wants to weed them out. I found over 100 great poses, most of which will work on the runway, all of which could be used for photography. She also has poses for both males and females on sale, so men you’ll find lots of choices there for you. The poses that are on sale are on the second floor, so run up the stairs to find the bargains.

At Xen’s Hats the 55L Thursday item is a vintage hat with daisies. The hat comes with a hud that allows the wearer to change the colors of the hat and the band to match an outfit. While I’m at it, I included the new Xen’s Hats’ hat in the photo. I recolored it to go with the rubies—in this case a look I could have worn on Independence Day. Well, maybe I could have worn it then, but blue, white, and pink isn’t exactly what the founding fathers had in mind. Perhaps I should have made the roses a bit darker, and I could have done it easily using the color-change hud that comes with the hat. The jewelry pieces and hat are all set for 55L each from 7:00 a.m. SLT on Thursday until 7:00 a.m. SLT on Friday. After that, the prices go up, so get yours while they are on sale.
