I’ve saved the Big Button hat for last—perhaps because it’s a bit avant garde. However, I love it. It’s a simple, big button that arrives white but can be recolored using the included hud. I’ve recolored it red below to go with a little black dress with a really big collar and wide red belt from Elan. They seemed to be made-for-each-other to me.

I have this “thing” for buttons. Apparently my RL mother did too as evidenced by her collection of buttons. She didn’t have anything especially fancy, just a large bunch of buttons.They proved to be a lot of fun to sort through. So it is not a lot of surprise that I like to use buttons in my creations. For Fifty5 Thursday I chose three hats that use buttons.( I blogged a fedora with buttons earlier here.)
This hat is Buttons, Buttons. The color of the hat, the buttons, and the thread in each of the buttons can be independently changed. That means you can make your hat very colorful or, as I have done, just color it a bit. Get yours while it is just 55L here.

Yula must know my very favorite color is red and I that I love gold and red together. It’s obvious she planned this hunt just for me. I was inspired to make this new hat by this terrific new hair from Dura Hair and the Snowflake necklace from Finesmith.
How many colors of the Snowflakes hat do you need to purchase to match every item in your inventory?
Just one! This is the same hat; I just used the color-change hud that comes with the hat to change the color of the hat. You can make thousands and thousands more colors—I love that.
I prefer white snowflakes, but I had to show you that you can change the color of the snowflakes also—make them all the same color or use up to six different colors.
The best part is that it’s only 25L this weekend.
