I was feeling a bit feisty when I saw this hat in its final form, so the name seemed appropriate. I added these great new pieces of FineSmith Jewelry named Aphrodite and this bustier and skirt, a recent release from My Precious. I’m not sure why laced boots seemed right, but they do. The final look has a vintage feel to me, so I found a vintage location, Old London Docks, to take the photos. The rickety platform made me a bit nervous with waves crashing below, so I watched my steps carefully.

Fiesty is a tall top hat that is color-changeable using the included hud. Both the hat and the feathers can be recolored, but I liked the feathers white, so I left them alone. The hat can also be resized with a click.

The name of my newest top hat is Eames. For some reason I’ve decided to name 26 hats in alphabetical order. Last week I created Andre, Barber, and Charlie. Yesterday I created Danni, so when I came up with this hat, I needed a name that began with “E.” Eames. Hmmm, where have I heard that name before? Hmmm.

A little research reminded me that Eames is the last name of a fictional character on the New York Police Department Major Crimes Division in the ABC show Law and Order: Criminal Intent. I love crime shows, but my husband calls them my blood-and-gut shows—he hates them. Oh, well.

Here is Eames, my latest from Xen’s Hats. As with most of my hats, this one and the three flowers can be recolored using the enclosed hud. Although I recolored the hat a great pink, I left the flowers white. It just so happens that I have this great Mimmi set from FineSmith that looks perfect with this hat. What more can you ask?

I so love the Shantal set designed by Yula Finesmith that I was inspired to design a new hat. You can see how great the Shantal set is for yourself. Here is the head piece. I love the cascade of flowers down the left side of the head.

Here is the right earring. It is such an unconventional earring, but then “unconventional” describes Yula herself pretty well.

Here is the ring—a great statement piece by itself.

I so loved Yula’s use of flowers, that I dug through my inventory to find flowers that I could use on a top hat. Here is the final result—Danni—a cascade of silver-white flowers down the left side of a tall top hat. The hat can be recolored with the color-change hud that is included, but the flowers remain silver-white.

I am wearing the Shantal earring and I copied and repositioned the Shantal ring onto my lapel as a pin. I love pins because they can be used in so may ways. I also love that Yula encourages us to play with her jewelry—that makes it even more fun to wear.

I’ve already blogged fedoras Charlie and Barber. Here is Andre, the third and last new fedoras for Fifty5 Thursday. Each at is available for at least a day for only 55L each.

Andre is different from the other two new fedoras because both the hat and the band are color-changeable. When the hat is delivered, it is a nice, clean white. Wear the hat and the color-change hud and change colors to your heart’s content.

Here I have paired Andre with a great, sexy, asymmetrical jumpsuit, Iman, from Vackra. I love that the sleeves are different shapes. I chose the jumpsuit in this wonderful turquoise color and recolored the hat to match with an orange hatband that I think picks up the highlights in my hair.

To complete the look, I added FineSmith jewelry from the O3 Collection Winter Edition and FineSmith Kick! Spikes in white.

Yesterday I posted one of the new hats from Xen’s Hats that I have on sale for only 55L today. Here is the second hat, Barber. This hat has a black band with a studded texture. Although the band stays black, you can change the color of the hat to match your outfit by using the hud that comes with the hat.

I had a lot of fun putting this look together using lots of color. (Color makes me happy.) These images show me using the FineSmith Noga Necklace and Earrings in peridot, but after I took the photos, I received the My Girl Aphrodite set and I’ve switched earrings to those and used the ring as a pin on my lapel.

(Unfortunately, if I took the time to retake the photos, I’d never get this posted. However, I love that, not only can you attach jewelry pieces to different spots, but that Yula encourages us to experiment and make the jewelry work for us. Thank you for the encouragement to do that, Yula!)

I paired this gorgeous jewelry with one of my favorite gowns from My Precious, Monica. It is one of my older gowns, but I love the lines of it and find that is a great gown to showcase jewelry.

Tomorrow is the day of the week when I set three items at Xen’s Hats to sell for only 55L. This week I designed three new fedoras especially for the event. Today I’m going to share the first of the three. This one is Charlie—a color-change fedora with a medium-tan, patterned band. The fedora is delivered in white with a hud, and it is ready for you to color it to match your outfit.

I’ve colored it pink to coordinate with the pink skirt from R.icielli that I’m wearing. I’ve paired the skirt with a brown turtle-neck sweater from YumYum. Since it’s winter in my part of the real world, I’ve donned light brown Gradient Tights from Izzie’s and G Field’s Short Lace-Up Boots in Brown. Then I’ve accessorized with the pink Mimmi’s Necklace from FineSmith.

I would tell you that if you like the fedora, not to stop by Xen’s Hats until tomorrow when it will be just 55L. However, it just might be 55L already—maybe, just maybe.

For this post I am sharing with you the FineSmith Giuls set designed for Giuls Scarpella, Miss Virtual 2012 Argentina, pictured below. Unfortunately, my photography is not good enough to show you how truly beautiful this jewelry is with very fine details. So I have included the photograph of the jewelry by Macissa Denver, photographer.

The Giuls MVW set is so delicate that I wanted to style it in a delicate manner to match. As a result, I selected items from my inventory that reminded my of the ballet including the ballet poses from Avant Garde. I left the texture of the jewelry platinum, as it was when I unpacked it, but I changed the gems to rubies.

Here is another great set for the 2012 MVW Finals from the workshop of Yula Finesmith. This time I am sharing the FineSmith My Girl Aphrodite MVW set designed for Aphrodite Brianna, Miss Virtual Iceland 2012. As with many of Yula’s creations, the items are texture-changable as well as resizable although I am wearing them as they came from the box.

One of the many things I love about SL is that there is so much variety that everyone can put together unique looks. I have set myself the task of showing you all of the FineSmith jewelry that was made for the recent MVW Finals. That’s a lot of looks, but I can do it. (She said with her fingers crossed.)

Agnes Finney, owner of My Precious, recently brought out this great outfit that is a bit different from anything she has done before. It’s a corset in a floral print that is laced up in the back, and it has a a lace skirt that would be great for an evening with a special person. You can get them by the set or you can buy them by the piece. I chose the gold set because of the pinkish flower in the print of the corset that would coordinate with the jewelry I wanted to wear with it.

The FineSmith jewelry set is the Tribal Glam Rissa MVW Formal Jewelry. The part that encircles the neck is a lovely shade of green that goes well with the print fabric. I love the feel of the jewelry—it feels happy happy to me.

To complete the look, I added sand-colored, open-toed pumps from Mary Jane Shoes and one of my favorite fedora’s from Xen’s Hats. Since the fedora can be easily resized, I made it smaller than usual and used the color-change hud to coordinate it with the corset.
