Yula must know my very favorite color is red and I that I love gold and red together. It’s obvious she planned this hunt just for me. I, of course, ran off to FineSmith as soon as I read about it and finished it in record time. The nice thing for you is that you can take part in this hunt too. Each of the 13 items is priced from 1 to 100 Lindens; that’s great pricing when you consider that every item is worth much more than you pay for it. I’ve been trying to catch up with all of the items I have received to preview for The Runway Perfect Hunt. It’s a challenge, but it’s fun. I hope it’s piquing your interest for the hunt that starts October 1. It has been limited to 50 designers, so it shouldn’t be overwhelming. I think you’ll enjoy it. There are 50 designers who are participating in The Runway Perfect Hunt that starts October 1. Some of the designers are putting out hunt items that are gender neutral and others are including both male and female gifts. For example, the shape I’m wearing below is from DuckSnake, and that designer has both male and female shapes included. The hat, from Xen’s Hat, can be worn by both men and women and is resizable and color-changeable. The list of hunt items with links are below the photos.

The Make Him Over Hunts have been so successful that organizer Vic Zuzu decided to organize a Make Her Over Hunt. The first hunt started yesterday and here are five of my finds. I’ve included the list below along with links to the stores. The hunt starts here. You have to join the hunt group, but the items are free. Have fun hunting.

The Runway Perfect Hunt starts October 1 and runs through October 31. The designers kept models in mind when they made their hunt prizes. For example, when I designed Zeb’s Zebra Fedora, I made it resizable and color-changeable so you could wear it in many ways with lots of different outfits. You can even recolor it black to have a solid black fedora. I hope you like it as much as I do. Here is your first glimpse at it and some of the other terrific items from the hunt including the dress, the jewelry, and the shoes. (You don’t have to be a model to participate in the hunt. Everyone is welcome.)

The dress below comes with some great blue flowers to be worn at the waist and shoulder, but I had this black-and-fushia look going on, so I left them off. Interestingly, the only thing I needed to recolor was the hat, and it comes a hud to make-color matching easy.

Yula Finesmith is one of the most talented designers in SL. Yes, I know, I work for her so I’m expected to say nice things. However, the truth is, I would never have accepted a job with someone whose designs I did not think the world of. When she has a hunt, she does NOT throw in stuff that is less than her best, but because of that, it’s not free. However, the prices are so good that they are worth the effort to find the items and the money you pay.

Let me show you items from about half of the hunt. This is a close up of a gorgeous hat and long sculpty gown that are in the hunt. What you don’t see in the jewelry are the bracelet and ring that match the other items.

In a previous blog, I mentioned that the FineSmith’s Design Hunt “Forbidden Pleasures” was underway. In this blog I want to share some of the treasures I’ve found. You have to pay for the items, but in each one you’ll find something worth much more than you paid for it.

Here are three items from the hunt (in no particular order): Privileged Hecate, Sweet Cocktail Earrings, and RingHer. Except for the dress, I changed the texture or color of the items to fit my mood. That’s one of the many things I like about Yula’s designs–they are changeable. For example, the earrings are 10% smaller than they were originally and I changed the texture and color of the gem.

Yula Finesmith put one item in each of the occupied stores in the mall and the rest are in her own store. Have fun hunting.
